MRAEL are currently seeking a highly motivated and eager Junior Business Administration Trainee to commence in 2025!
Our Client, Martin's Mechanical Services is a general automotive repair shop servicing Mackay and the surrounding areas. This is a fast paced office environment surrounded by a diverse and friendly team.
About the position:
As the successful candidate, you will manage the front desk operations on a daily basis. You will be the main point of contact for customers and will contribute to the smooth running of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in person and via phone
- Booking in customers and ensuring parts required for jobs are in store
- Processing time sheets on a daily basis
- Ensure office area is tidy and presentable, cleaning once per week is to be shared and carried out with the other office staff
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute parts that arrive from suppliers to the workshop
- Perform other clerical duties including but not limited to; filing, photocopying and transcribing
- Process cash sale and supplier invoices
- Carry out stock take and monitor stock control with office manager
- Contact fleet companies to obtain order numbers and process invoices when the job is complete
- Collect parts from suppliers
- Carry out updates on the workshop scan tools as required
- Carry out quoting as required
- Ordering filters and monitoring filter stock
- Completing customer white cards for the following day
- Monitoring oil prices
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as required
- Collect compliance plates and books from the transport department

- Neat and professional presentation
- Current Drivers Lic

Work Type:
Full Time Traineeship (Monday - Thursday, 7:15am - 4:30pm and Fridays 7:15am to 2pm -RDO every second Friday)
