MRAEL in partnership with Sandvik are currently seeking a Mechanical Heavy Mobile Plant Apprentice to commence in October 2024.

About the position:

As the first-year apprentice, you will assist in the repair and rebuilds to a large fleet of machines, trucks, loaders, drills, miners, and associated components.

Work Type: Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday-Friday) for the whole duration of your four year Apprenticeship.

Wage: Above award wages and great incentives apply!

Successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Manual drivers licence (or close to obtaining)
  • White card (or willing to obtain)
  • High School Certificate (Year 10 minimum)
  • Mechanical aptitude and hand tool experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High safety focus
  • Motivation to learn and develop new skills
