Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Forklift Operator to join their team at the Lytton Warehouse for a casual on going position.

As the Forklift Operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks.

You will be reporting to the Branch Manager & would see you carry out the following duties:

  • Receive and process Timber Packs (container unloads, putting stock away)
  • Prepare & treat timber packs working with inbuilt treatment plant
  • General administration duties to be included i,e RF Scanning, printing & manifesting delivery notes, WMS inventory control & Stocktaking.
  • Manual handling of timber and materials at times
  • Ensuring the yard is a safe working environment and optimise space utilization
  • Maintain housekeeping standards at high level throughout the warehouse and yard.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a hands-on individual who enjoys a variety of tasks and ideally has previous experience in the timber industry and warehousing/storage yard. Attention to detail and a knack for matching numbers are essential.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift license

Hours:

  • Casual rate: $33 per hour
  • Monday to Friday (6am-2pm)
