We are looking for expressions of interest from dedicated individuals who may be interested in an opportunity to join our Fraud & Scams department as Customer Service Consultants. 

Location: Parramatta 

Abou the Role: Provide service to customers experiencing suspicious or fraudulent activity on their banking products and respond to fraud detection system alerts. This role requires multitasking and may involve various shifts. Fraud & Scam Operations supports customers 24/7, 365 days a year. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to various types of fraud and disputes. 
  • Monitor transactional alerts for fraud and scam activity. 
  • Create and manage fraud case files. 
  • Refund and recover funds. 
  • Liaise with internal and external customers regarding fraud enquiries. 
  • Report fraudulent customers to Equifax and card schemes. 
  • Ensure compliance with scheme rules and regulations. 

Expertise Required: 

  • Experience in customer service. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Operational experience with sensitive customer matters. 
  • Strong work ethic and time management. 
  • Ability to meet targets and benchmarks. 
  • Intermediate computer skills.
