About the Role

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Hazardous Area (HA) Electrical Supervisor to join us on multiple renewable energy construction projects on a 2/1 Roster. As a key member of the site team, you will supervise and manage electrical installations, maintenance, and commissioning activities related to hazardous areas. In addition, some of your key responsibilities will include;

  • Supervise and manage electrical installations in hazardous areas, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and WA regulations.
  • Lead, coordinate, and mentor a team of electricians and contractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, addressing any potential hazards or safety concerns in hazardous areas.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure all electrical work is carried out to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records and reports, ensuring all work is documented in line with project requirements.
  • Implement and manage hazardous area electrical work schedules and ensure safety audits are carried out regularly.
  • Conduct commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in hazardous areas.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Valid WA Electrical License and relevant HA certifications.
  • At least 7 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor, with a focus on hazardous areas (HA).
  • Experience in supervising and leading teams on solar farm projects or similar renewable energy sectors.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical specifications.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
