About the Role

Monford Group is looking for a FIFO Senior WHSE Advisor to support our projects in WA, with POH Perth on a 2/1 roster. Some of the key tasks will include;

  • Promote occupational health & safety on site and support the Corporate WHSE Manager to identify any gap in systems and procedures.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the relevant Acts and Regulations and advise management of changes to legislation or activities being conducted or planned.
  • Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.
  • Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
  • Advise and support project teams and contractors on WHSE matters, ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses are properly reported, investigated, and followed up on.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.
  • Develop and deliver safety induction programs for all site personnel.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; 

  • Relevant qualification in WHSE like Certificate IV in WHS, Diploma of WHS, or equivalent.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in a Senior WHSE role, preferably within a construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of WHSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and hazard management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with site personnel and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and efficiently.
