About the Role

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Lead Commissioning Technician to join us and work on multiple renewables project. You will provide hands on leadership and supervision to our field crews and ensuring works are completed in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, some of your key responsibilities will include;

  • Coordination and distribution of work scopes to personnel ensuring timely execution in line with the project schedule.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications and project plans to determine sequences and method of operation.
  • Install and connect electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communication systems and other electrical equipment required.
  • Install and terminate electrical wiring, cables and conduits, ensuring proper organisation and routing. Maintain accurate documentation of wiring diagrams and circuit configurations.
  • Installation of electrical switchboards.
  • Checking control sequences, interlocks and safety features to ensure they operate correctly.


About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in Civil Construction, Engineering or Electrical sectors.
  • You must be a licensed Electrician or have a provisional license that is certified by the Electrical Licensing Board of Western Australia.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams and driving successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in working to and meeting deadlines and project deliverables.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • High level attention to detail with strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment and be able to prioritise, multitask and think on your feet.
