About the Role

We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across one of our exciting solar farm construction projects. You’ll be the go-to expert in the field, implementing and overseeing QA/QC processes, developing strategies, and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and project specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on QA experience, looking to work on a significant renewable energy project and make a lasting impact. 

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, managing quality processes from start to finish, while supporting a diverse team through various phases of construction. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the project’s quality standards and ensuring its success from inception to completion.

Location: DIDO or FIFO Brisbane

Roster: 2/1 roster 

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the development and implementation of the project quality strategy, Project Quality Plan (PQP), and quality procedures to align with the contract specifications.
• Oversee and enforce QA/QC standards to ensure the project is completed in line with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality policies.
• Conduct quality audits, coordinate site inspections, and ensure non-conformance processes are effectively managed.
• Review inspection test results and ensure compliance with all quality-related standards.
• Review and approve vendor documentation, manage vendor performance, and ensure that their work aligns with project quality standards.
• Assist with the development and delivery of quality training programs and support graduate development.
• Participate in project risk analysis and safety reviews (e.g., HAZOP, CRAW) and contribute to overall site safety and quality performance.
• Provide regular updates to senior management, prepare progress reports, and manage the compilation of quality records for project deliverables.

 You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in a Senior Quality Advisor or Quality Management role, particularly within the construction industries.
• In-depth understanding of Australian Standards, ITPs, MDRs, ITCs, and quality management systems.
• Engineering, construction, or QA qualifications/certifications with significant hands-on experience in quality control processes and auditing.
