About the Role

Monford Group is seeking an Junior WHSE Advisor to join our team on multiple renewable energy projects on a 2/1 Roster. Some of your key responsibilities will include

  • Preparation of various project specific documentation, including tender information, procedures, WHSE Management Plans and reports as required.
  • Assist in the investigation of any project incidents and ensure the maintenance of proper records.
  • Support the development and implementation of new WHSE programs and training initiatives.
  • Passionate about positive change, behavioural safety, and safety differently.
  • Interpret safety data, identifying trends and take a proactive approach to solving any issues.
  • Be a strong communicator, building capacity within the site operational leaders to enable them to foster the desired safety culture.
  • Be highly visible on site, prioritising interactions / observations to engage our employees and contractors in Monford safety programs.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following; 

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor Degree or Certificate IV in WHS.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Current Australian drivers licence.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation in Western Australia.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based software applications and a high level of computer literacy in general.
  • Be willing to work a 2/1 or 3/1 FIFO roster with Perth as point of hire.
