About the Role

Monford is looking for an experienced WHSE Advisor to join our team and play a crucial role in our solar farm project in Bundaberg, QLD. This position involves FIFO work with a 2/1 roster tailored to project requirements. As a WHSE Advisor, you will be integral to maintaining top safety and compliance standards for this exciting renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Corporate and Project WHSE Managers to identify and rectify system gaps.
  • Leading risk assessments and safety reviews.
  • Advocating for behavioural safety and innovative practices.
  • Managing on-site WHSE documentation and investigating incidents.
  • Analysing safety data to address trends and issues.
  • Supporting other WHSE Advisors and fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Engaging with employees and contractors to support Monford’s safety programs and ensure safe project delivery.

About You

You're a talented professional who:

  • Holds a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5 years and plus).
  • Has comprehensive knowledge of WHSE legislation.
  • Holds a proactive, self-motivated attitude with a track record of organisational safety and business transformation.
  • Can be adaptable to new technologies as we aim to go paperless.
