About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced mine engineer to provide technical pre-sales expertise, client training, and ongoing support for our state-of-the-art software solutions. This position will suit an experienced mining engineer with a keen interest in commercial engagement and client success.

Reporting to the Regional Product Manager, you’ll leverage your technical mining expertise to enhance client experiences and drive solution adoption within the Indonesian market.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Provide technical pre-sales support, demonstrating and tailoring solutions to address client needs

• Conduct client training and provide ongoing support, ensuring effective product utilization
• Services revenue generation
• Collaborate closely with clients to solve complex mining problems, utilizing your skills in pit design, pit optimization, mine planning and scheduling
• Act as a key technical liaison between clients and internal teams, including product development and support
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, and represent Micromine at industry events and forums
• Working hand in hand with Business Development Managers to find new leads/opportunities

About You

The ideal candidate is a senior-level mining engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Mine Engineering and substantial hands-on experience in mining operations. You’re adept at problem-solving and passionate about helping clients succeed through impactful technology solutions.

Key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering
• Proven experience in mining operations, with expertise in pit design, pit optimization, mine planning, and scheduling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling complex mining challenges
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable engaging in a commercial setting and fostering client relationships
• Strong public speaking skills and a passion for delivering training to clients
• An established network in Mining, specifically hard rock/mineral companies
