We're on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned professional to be the driving force behind our capital delivery programs. The Project Control Manager will play a critical role in ensuring a consistent approach to key control activities across the capital portfolio.

You'll be at the helm of creating a uniform project scheduling approach, crafting integrated program schedules, and delivering pivotal monthly program reports to influential stakeholder forums. Your expertise will be the linchpin in upholding stringent cost control and compliance standards across our capital portfolio, making a paramount impact on project execution and success.

Key Responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Undertake resource planning for projects across their Portfolios.
  • Ensure a consistent project scheduling methodology is adopted across the capital delivery programs (i.e. standardised durations for key activities and project types), accurate milestone reporting and timely updates.
  • Identify key interdependencies across the program for their portfolios.
  • Supporting the delivery programs in the development of integrated program schedules, ensuring program do-ability and fleshing out project interdependencies to avoid unnecessary project delays and inaccurate cash flow forecasting and completion of cost control activities (accurate and timely funding and change requests) and other compliance activities (i.e. scope change requests, completion of stage gates and risk assessments).
  • Deliver monthly program reporting for key stakeholder forums including Integrated Capital Planning Steering Group, Business Unit month-end reports and Project Controls Groups.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline and extensive experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience (5+ years) in Project Controls of large Infrastructure programs would be advantageous.
  • Strong Scheduling and Cost Management Skills with a schedule bias.
  • A proven track record of effective project controls on a major project or program.
  • Strong commercial and business knowledge with emphasis in building and civil infrastructure.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite (especially MS Project) and Primavera.
