Key responsibilities:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a demand management and capacity planning framework aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Lead the processes for identifying, prioritising, and capturing technology demands, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational requirements.
- Design capacity models to forecast technology resource needs, track utilisation, and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Implement frameworks to maximise efficiency in technology investments and drive continuous improvement in resource management.
- Work closely with PMO leadership to optimise resource allocation across strategic and operational portfolios.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of planning specialists, fostering a data-driven, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Oversee the financial planning for technology investments, partnering with finance to ensure budgets align with technology resource needs and priorities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Established senior leadership experience in compex technology environments.
- Strong expertise in demand management, capacity planning, or resource management roles.
- Proven experience in leading technology planning functions, building forecasting models, and implementing planning tools.
- Extensive background in technology delivery, operations, or strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Operations, or Analytics (beneficial).
- Professional certifications in resource management, strategic planning, or demand forecasting (e.g., CPIM, PMP) are advantageous.
