Key responsibilities:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform electrical tasks in accordance with A-Class licensing requirements.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and airfield lighting systems.
- Undertake planned and unplanned works safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance by all involved.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and documentation.
- Provide guidance to apprentices and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Complete training as directed and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
You’re a qualified A-Grade electrician with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and problem-solving. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where your skills keep essential systems running smoothly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Current A-Grade electrical licence.
- Work safely at heights certification (or willingness to attain if successful).
- Basic Airport Lighting (Level 1) certification (or willingness to attain if successful).
- Proficient computer skills.

- Strong communication skills for technical explanations and stakeholder engagement.
- Effective decision-making and troubleshooting abilities.
