Permanent, Part-time - 40 hrs per fortnight

We are seeking an enthusiastic and accountable instrument technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have the ability to juggle responsibilities across different areas such as procurement and endoscopy
  • Be a great communicator who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Take initiative and be proactive in identifying and addressing issues

As an instrument technician, your key duties will involve:

  • Maintaining and repairing medical instruments and equipment
  • Testing equipment calibration and functionality
  • Tracking instrument inventory levels
  • Placing orders for new instruments and equipment
  • Coordinating equipment procurement with vendors and end users
  • Supporting endoscopy procedures by preparing scopes and accessories

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Previous experience as an instrument technician in a healthcare facility is preferred. Certification is a plus.
