At the Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS), we care deeply about the health, safety, and wellbeing of our team. That's why we're searching for a compassionate and dedicated Return to Work Coordinator to join our team.

In this critical role, you'll be the guiding hand injured employees need to recover and get back to meaningful work. You'll coordinate with staff across all levels of our organization to make sure we're providing the support required for safe and sustainable return to work.

We'll rely on you to:

  • Serve as the key contact for employees out with injuries or illnesses
  • Liaise closely with employees, managers, doctors, and our WorkCover agent
  • Proactively develop and execute customized return to work plans
  • Monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed
  • Educate and coach managers on productive return to work processes

To thrive in this position, you'll need advanced communication abilities and sharp problem-solving skills. You'll work closely with many departments, so the ability to collaborate is a must.
