We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team as our Director of Nursing - Avoca Campus. Work in the picturesque community of Avoca with a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team, with a focus on providing high quality care. The Avoca Director of Nursing will have operational accountability and responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the Avoca Campus.
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership and direction to the team at the Avoca campus
- Facilitate continuous improvement measures
- Promote a culture of collaboration, consultation and communication while maintaining supportive, positive and open relationships.
- Maintain quality and clinical governance systems
- Oversee business performance measures
- Support, empower and lead the nursing workforce in the leadership and management of the clinical care
- Develop and support clinical coordination and integration of services to drive improvements in alignment with Aged Care reforms
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Embrace and promote the values of MDHS – Genuine, Respect, Excellence, Accountability & Togetherness
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Nursing (preferably gerontology)
- Demonstrated experience at a senior management level in health
- Basic Life Support Certificate
