Permanent Part-Time - 48 - 64 hours per fortnight

Successful candidates will obtain a Permanent contract with MDHS, as follows:

  • 2025 - 2026: RN Graduate Program.
  • 2026 - onwards: Ongoing Contract.

Graduate Nurse Support is provided by:

  • Clinical support, mentorship and organisational education opportunities;
  • Supernumerary and orientation time are provided within the program structure, as is Annual Leave per the EBA
  • Paid study days spread throughout the program with additional study days offered
  • Regular debriefing;
  • Access to a variety of interactive E-Learning programs including targeted online CPD topics to assist your development.

Registered Nurse

Qualifications / Experience

· Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills

· Sound understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse

· Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation

· Ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

· Knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities

· Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice

· Excellent organisational skills particularly with respect to time management

· Well-developed interpersonal skills

· Excellent communication and computer skills at the level required to fulfil that role
