Food & Domestic Service Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Food & Domestic Assistant to join our team at the Avoca Campus of Maryborough District Health Service. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out all food delivery and cleaning services activities throughout the organisation
  • Ensuring food and cleaning services uphold best practices and MDHS values
  • Problem solving with initiative, flexibility, and great attention to detail
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal teams and external visitors
  • Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Managing your time efficiently while working both independently and collaboratively with others

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

  • Initiative, flexibility and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • The capability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
