Location: Mansfield District Hospital
Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership career within a supportive, community-driven rural health service? Mansfield District Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Executive Team as Director of Finance and Corporate Services (DFCS).
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and finance, who is CPA qualified and has at least 3 years' experience in a similar or relevant leadership role.
About the Role
As DFCS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. You will lead and manage key corporate functions, ensuring they align with Mansfield District Hospital’s vision, values, and strategic direction.
Reporting directly to the CEO and advising the Corporate Governance Committee, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across:
- Finance
- Administration
- Procurement & Asset Management
- ICT
- Support Services (Hotel, Catering & Domestic)
- Facilities Management
This role combines hands-on leadership in your area of expertise with oversight of the entire Corporate Services portfolio.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting and/or Finance
- CPA qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a comparable role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles
- Proven ability to deliver complex financial reports accurately and on time
- Experience in asset, procurement, and contract management
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Oracle)
- Demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines and balance priorities
Desirable:
- Experience within the Health and/or Aged Care sector
