About the role:
The role is responsible for the efficient management of purchasing and receipt of goods and medical supplies within budget constraints, whilst focusing on cost reduction and stock rotation to maintain the operational requirements of the organisation. The role will also be responsible for performing a number of administrative tasks supporting the Maintenance team.
This position reports to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, as Chief Procurement Officer, via the Corporate Services Manager. They will engage with external suppliers, contractors and staff across Mansfield District Hospital to ensure the efficient procurement, management and use of all stock and assets, as well as perform administrative tasks that will support the efficiency of the Maintenance team.
