Classification: AHP1 based on experience. Classification as per the Allied Health Professionals Agreement 2021-2026.

About the Health Service

Mansfield District Hospital (MDH) is located in Victoria’s scenic high country, at the foot of Mount Buller and on the shores of Lake Eildon, only two hours from Melbourne.

At Mansfield District Hospital, we provide care for all life stages and critical health needs. This includes acute hospital care, urgent care, operating theatre, obstetrics with a midwifery group practice model, aged care, regional district nursing service for in-home care and our allied health services.

As a valued member of Mansfield District Hospital’s Primary Care Centre and multi-disciplinary Allied Health team, the suitably qualified applicant will provide high quality speech pathology care to patients and clients referred to the service. The successful candidate will be required to support a person-centered, community development approach to care in a variety of contexts, including the Primary Care setting, home, early childhood centres and schools.

 The successful applicant would be a practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia and have a demonstrated ability to manage a generalist caseload and develop, coordinate and evaluate programs within a healthcare and education setting.
