The Opportunity:

Greenhouse New Zealand is looking for an Account Director on a 3 month contract to support with client projects from brief to completion, with financial accountability for those projects under their remit. With responsibility for solving clients’ business problems, they will work closely with Strategy, Creative and Production teams.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Act as the go-to person, responsive to client requests, expectations and business requirements
  • Seek to understand the Woolworths business and seeks ways to add value and drive the client business in terms of creative product, market share and brand recognition
  • Management of fully integrated campaigns leveraging all disciplines including advertising, CRM and digital communications 
  • Leads projects and oversees management of timelines, WIPs, job numbers and estimates 
  • Builds and nurture beneficial working relationships with the wider agency team through actively listening and seeking guidance
  • Strategically drive the client category anticipating potential competitive threats or opportunities and making recommendations
  • Act as mentor to the junior members of the Account Management team, setting a positive example for team behaviour, learning and collaboration

Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in a creative advertising agency as an Account Director/Senior Account Manager
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Passionate about great ideas, underpinned by commitment to delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – a confident, credible presenter 
  • Action-orientated: Sees things that need doing – and takes action
  • Proven experience managing digital campaigns and digital communications projects
  • In depth knowledge of Advertising: TV, radio, print production, sponsorships & other emerging media especially digital; web, email, mobile
