About the role

You will work closely with the front end of the business, through the Design and ECI process to support early stakeholder engagement on relevant industrial projects. With a proven background in the food processing/ cold storage industry you will identify opportunities, mitigate risks and assist in the procurement of appropriate resources for these niche projects. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Design Manager and Project Manager, assisting with the engagement of suppliers and subcontractors on all food processing services.
  • Reviewing documentation ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • In conjunction with the CA, identify applicable cost savings and assist with product selection and problem solving to achieve best value for money across services.
  • Manage the commissioning and submission of final documentation, as built documents, authority approvals, warranties, training and guarantees in the final handover.

About you

You are a specialist in food processing/ cold storage, your technical knowledge is second to none, but equally so are your people skills. Additionally, you will have:

  • Uncompromising quality standards, you appreciate the importance of systems and processes and committed to driving the best outcome for the client, subbies and project team.
  • Strong communication skills and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills through development of productive relationships with colleagues and team members.
