We are a close knit team of 6 recruitment professionals that love to partner with our hiring managers to ensure that the best talent is attracted and brought into the McNab group of businesses. Whilst we are an internal team, we think commercially and proactively like an agency to drive results, and this role will be a great foundation for you to continue to grow your recruitment or HR career. In the support of one of our own team moving into the HSE space within the McNab group, we have the opportunity to open up a resourcer/coordinator role that closely supports the 3 Recruitment Business Partners (a fun and focused bunch). This is a diverse role for someone to learn volume recruitment vs headhunting, and how a people team in a successful business operates. You will be at the hub of helping us drive proactiveness and productivity, which could include support such as:

  • Industry mapping and research
  • General candidate connection and engagement, through various channels and methods
  • Talent pooling and continued engagement with those candidates
  • Management of recruitment inbox and general enquiries
  • General candidate shortlisting and phone screening
  • Scheduling and booking of screening and interviews
  • Reference and background checks, and providing information on our employment conditions as required
  • Running with entry level positions such as apprentices and cadets – we can train you here if you don’t feel comfortable
  • Being ok to attending industry and career days/functions/fairs/expos to promote the McNab businesses and construction/property industries in general

The areas we will want to know about you:

  • We can train you, you don’t need the experience, but you will have the hunger and drive to achieve in this space… perhaps you come from a sales background where this has been demonstrated (but not essential).
  • As mentioned, we all work really well together, so we are looking for a team player with a customer service/care mindset to slot into our team environment.
  • You will be connecting with ppl at all levels – our owner, our CEO, site managers, estimators, apprentices… you will have the maturity to engage with anyone and everyone will be key to you being able to perform in this position.
  • Naturally being in recruitment, you will be inquisitive – this will allow you to ask the right questions and think around things (which partnered with drive) will allow you to get the outcomes you need (with candidates and internally).
