About the role
Due to the growth of our developments team, we are seeking an Assistant Development Manager to work on some incredible developments based on the Gold Coast. This role will see you use your current experience and gain exposure to all facets of developments across project planning, execution and delivery to support the team with anything from site acquisition and funding, product concept, and feasibility analysis. You will also gain exposure to marketing, sales, and project revenue generation.
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role with multi-residential and commercial developments, and a knowledge of the local market and area. Regardless though, you will have a passion for the development process, building relationships, and embedding yourself in the local community and everything going on within it. You will be naturally solutions focused, able to work with all types of people, and enjoy picking trends. This passion will see you actively participating with the wider team and to help keep challenging strategies and driving forward group goals. About you
- Degree in Property Economics/Engineering/Construction Management or related property discipline is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in Property Development / Construction industry
- Passion for property development, and a natural curiosity to understand current trends, market intelligence and pricing analysis
- Ability to work to development strategies and work within a team to challenge concepts and achieve team goals.
- Ability to start to anticipate, identify, negotiate and resolve potential issues impacting a project - or know when to identify these things and how and when to escalate them.
- Ability to form strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders, and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven record of accomplishment of success in previous similar role.
- Excellent relationship building skills, along with written and verbal communication skills.
- Engaging and self-confident in style, in a humble and down to earth way.
