McNab have a great opportunity for a Cadet to join our Sydney team.
This position offers a hands-on introduction to Contract Administration, Quality Assurance, Design and Estimating including invaluable mentoring and advice from seasoned construction professionals. Through joining the McNab Cadet Program you’ll not only get hands-on experience, but you’ll also get paid to learn.

The position is ideal for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Construction Management (or similar) student looking for the opportunity to complement studies with practical, hands-on experience.
You will be a self-starter who is safety-conscious, responsible for assisting with:
- Review of contract and preparation of sub-contractor agreements.
- Preparation of cost reports and processing of payment claims and invoices.
- Coordination of consultant meetings & taking minutes.
- Accurate and timely distribution of documents and specifications.
- Quality assurance, safety and environmental inspections.
You will need to:
- Be studying or have recently completed a construction related degree or equivalent.
- Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Have excellent people and communication skills.
- Have great time management and prioritisation.
- Be interested in joining a team, not just a company.
