About the role

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a driven and capable Senior Contract Administrator for an upcoming large multi-residential (high rise) project.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): 

  • Maintain proactive and positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers. 
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules. 
  • Plan actions and complete all documentation in alignment with the Head Contract and raise any discrepancies early. 
  • Take ownership and responsibility for all costs and budget outcomes. Have current knowledge of all aspects of the project’s financial position at any point in time. 
  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager to determine and communicate an effective request for information (RFI) management process with subcontractors. 
  • Ensure project document control to meet all contract requirements, including drawings, specifications and reports. 
  • Develop budget targets identifying key risks and opportunities for best commercial outcomes in consultation with the Project Manager. 
  • Manage and maintain cost control software (Jobpac), including budget entry, commitments, forecasting, variations, payments, and coding of invoices. 
  • Assist in preparing all required reports for monthly project report meeting, proactively advise of any new risks, opportunities or changes, and participate in strategic discussion. 

About you 

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field. 
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive outcomes. 
  • Influence and build commercially beneficial relationships with all project stakeholders. 
  • Act decisively with an ability to problem solve. 
  • Prior experience working for a commercial builder (head contractor) delivering projects of a similar size and nature (high rise essential for this position).
