About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing operational management of veteran strategic alliances and partnerships. You will oversee the general operations and overall performance of our veteran talent partnerships and placements, and ensure this business stream is efficient, profitable and delivers exceptional candidate care to our veteran talent. 

You will:

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of veteran talent ensuring Manpower (MPG) Defence & Aerospace (D&A) continue to be market leading as the partner of choice for veteran talent
  • Work with our D&A recruiters and other broader MPG recruiters to bridge the gap between client need and veteran placement and ID the right job opportunities and organisations for our veterans 
  • Build our market differentiator by building, growing and maintaining a sizeable veteran talent pool
  • Main responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management, operations management, sales and business development, candidate management, customer satisfaction and risk management.

We're looking for

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • Several years' experience in a senior recruitment or talent management role
  • A deep understanding of the defence industry
  • Hold strong business acumen, be strategic, innovative and entrepreneurial when dealing with our strategic alliances
  • A passion for helping veterans and the ability to translate military experience and skills to civilian life is a must
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and already baseline security cleared
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills
  • Possess that drive and hunger to succeed and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
  • You will be flexible and agile, solutions focused, ambitious, honest, resilient and a general high energy go getter!
