About the role:

The Senior Case Manager is responsible for providing a high quality and effective case work service for children and young people residing in foster care.

 

This is a Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in North Metro within our North Metro Home Based Case program. The position reports to the Home Based Care Coordinator.

 

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent.
  •  Leadership skills and experience.
  • Extensive relevant experience in Foster Care.
  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
  • Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles). MacKillop can assist successful candidates with their application.
