Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to young people in our care, promoting their well-being and development.
- Implement individualised care plans and therapeutic interventions.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for each young person.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification and or proven experience as a Youth Worker or in a similar role within a residential or therapeutic setting.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and the challenges faced by young people in care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Key selection criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum qualification requirements for this position is a Diploma of Youth Work, Community Services or equivalent.
- Aboriginal staff - a qualification is desirable but experience and willingness; to participate in training is essential.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in youth services, residential care or supported accommodation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
- Demonstrated experience working therapeutically with children and young people who have experience significant challenges and trauma.
You must have or willing to obtain:
- Valid and current Driver’s License;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check
