Are you looking for a career step or a leadership position? We are looking for an Assistant House Supervisor to join the team and support the House Supervisor in providing quality care for young people in our residential care homes.
As an Assistant House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily care of young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will step in to lead during times when the House Supervisor is not present and maintain a safe, healthy, and harmonious home environment.
Your key responsibilities will include guiding residential care workers, promoting therapeutic care practices, and ensuring the home runs smoothly. Strong leadership and the application of learned therapeutic techniques will be essential in delivering high-quality care and ensuring a positive, supportive atmosphere for young people.

This is a full-time position based in Warrnambool

Requirements
- Valid and Current Driver's Licence
- Valid and Current Workers With Children's Check
- Valid and Current NDIS Workers Screeners Check
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check
- Relevant Diploma with substantial experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units).
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
