Key Responsibilities:
- In consultation with the General Manager, lead, direct and integrate Quality Systems across Medical & Aged Care Group;
- Support Home Managers in achieving compliance with Accreditation Standards and all governance requirements and attending Site Audits by Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission,
- To identify trends of improvement as well as gaps in compliance and make appropriate recommendations to the General Manager and relevant Executive Managers,
- To conduct Workplace Investigations in consultation and collaboration with Managers and the People & Culture Manager,
- Monitor and ensure training solutions are optimised to ensure a skilled workforce.
Qualifications:
- Current National Police Certificate that satisfies the requirements of the Aged Care Act and guiding principles.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems Management and Risk Management Systems.
- High level of statistical analysis with relevant computer skills.
- Relevant experience and a genuine interest and commitment to the holistic well-being of the elderly, including an ability to empathise and understand their needs.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
- AHPRA Registration, Clinical / Nursing background an advantage.
- Knowledge relating to AN-ACC and associated documentation requirements an advantage.
- Experience in a similar role for minimum 3 years.
