We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Lifestyle Assistant to join our friendly team in Ashwood to help our residents to achieve their personal goals.

What you will do:

Actively encouraging residents to participate in:

• Recreational & leisure experiences
• Planning, implementing and evaluating programs and plans
• Individual social engagement, emotional, spiritual & cultural support
• Family & Community liaison
• Community engagement & social justice projects
• Individual social engagement & emotional support
• Continually exploring new opportunities and programs to meet the needs of our residents

To succeed in this role, you will require the below:

• Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health
• Covid-19 Vaccinations
• Experience in Aged Care, highly desirable
• Demonstrate an understanding of the differing cognitive, social, spiritual and cultural needs of residents
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Standards and expected outcome
• A compassionate, patient and proactive approach to working with older adult
