POLYWELDER

Anticipated Gross Annual Earnings – $214,668.00*

As our valued Poly Welder, you will be vital to the success of our major mining construction project at the Carrapateena Mine in South Australia.

Working a 2:1 FIFO roster with flights from most major cities, you’ll enjoy a better work-life balance. You’ll also be surrounded by a down-to-earth team of reliable, friendly, hard-working people - it’s not all hugs and roses, but we take your physical and mental health seriously.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Using your sound planning and organisational skills to get the job done
• Using your experience and knowledge to do the best work you can do
• Taking pride in the work you do and being an important member of a hard-working team.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• relevant HDPE butt welding, electro-fusion, and extrusion welding certifications
• tickets in poly welding and experience in welding poly pipelines across large areas
• the ability to install associated fittings and valves on the pipelines
• the skills to use specialised machinery for industrial poly welding
• the capability to conduct flushing and hydrostatic testing and carry out commissioning on all mechanical components on pipelines
• the competence and relevant tickets to assist with lifts of piping

Ideally, you will also have:

• A valid C Class Drivers’ Licence as a minimum
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Elevated Work Platform tickets
• Additional relevant HRWL certifications such as dogging and rigging
• Construction Card 
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and part of a team
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and undergo a pre-employment medical
