Employee Onboarding (Mobilisation) Officer

Teneriffe, QLD

Full-Time

At M2P Engineering, onboarding isn’t just paperwork—it’s the foundation for getting projects done right. As our Employee Onboarding (Mobilisation) Officer, you will be critical in ensuring that our workforce is prepared and mobilised efficiently to project sites across Australia.

Based at our Teneriffe head office, you’ll coordinate all aspects of employee mobilisation, from managing documentation and compliance to travel and logistics. Your attention to detail and communication skills will be essential in ensuring that our employees are ready to hit the ground running on day one.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Coordinating onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring compliance with all documentation and procedures.
  • Managing internal employment documentation and client site requirements.
  • Collaborating with HR and project teams to streamline the mobilisation process.
  • Ensuring employees are prepared for site-specific requirements, including inductions, medicals, and certifications.
  • Tracking and reporting on mobilisation progress to ensure timelines are met.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in employee onboarding, mobilisation, or recruitment coordination.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, as well as superior problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of compliance and documentation requirements in an engineering or construction environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant HR software.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience working in the mining, engineering, or construction sectors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Why M2P Engineering?

At M2P, we do a whole lot: engineering, construction, fabrication, maintenance … the list goes on. And we do it bloody well.

We work hard, and we expect plenty from each other. Our people get that because that’s how we win. And it’s how you will, too.

So, what can you expect from a career with us? Well, it’s about three things:

  • Work. The way it should be. We take pride in quality work, completed to spec and on time. Things can’t always go according to plan, of course, but we’re proud to exceed expectations and deliver on what we promise.
  • Your career. The way it should be. With so many interesting projects to get stuck into, there’s ongoing work and a stable future here. Just give it a solid go, do the job well, and we’ll look after you.
  • A real team. The way it should be. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with an honest, reliable, and respectful team. We’re mates looking after mates, and when the going gets tough, that’s when we step up for you the most.

You’ll also enjoy a range of other benefits:

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
