Role Description

As a Project Planner/Scheduler, you’ll play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and reporting on project schedules for some of Australia’s most challenging and exciting projects. With a focus on precision and alignment, you’ll integrate with cost engineers and contract administrators to ensure seamless project delivery.

This FIFO role offers the chance to work with top industry professionals, delivering projects efficiently and effectively while contributing to M2P’s expanding portfolio of success.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Developing, maintaining, and reporting on detailed project schedules.
  • Tracking the installation of commodities and updating the Quantity and Workhour Report (QWR).
  • Reporting on earned value management metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborating with cost engineers to ensure schedule and cost alignment.
  • Integrating with contract administrators to manage project changes and inform contract variations.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 skills.
  • Knowledge of earned value management principles.
  • Superior communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proven site-based experience during the delivery phase of projects.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Contractor-side project controls experience.
  • Cost control experience.
