Head Office or Site Based - You choose!

As one of our valued Contract Administrators, you will be vital to the success of our major mining construction projects.

Based onsite at our Head Office in the beautiful and vibrant suburb of Teneriffe in Brisbane or, on-site at one of our major projects, you’ll draw on your skills and experience to support the project teams on the deliverables.

Working either Monday - Friday from the head office or on a 2:1 FIFO roster, you’ll be surrounded by a down-to-earth team of reliable, friendly, hard-working people - it’s not all hugs and roses, but we take your physical and mental health seriously.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • understanding the contract terms and conditions and their application
  • ensuring claims, variations and notices related to the contracts are processed accurately and on-time
  • developing relationships and communicating effectively and clearly with the client representatives
  • being able to work autonomously and with the extended project team

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in:

  • understanding the contract terms and conditions and their application
  • preparing and submitting progress claims
  • managing change orders and variations of contract
  • monitoring deliverables on the contract
  • processing and interpreting project and financial data
  • sub-contractor claim assessment
  • liaising with project teams
  • cost reporting

Ideally, you will also have:

  • previous experience working in a contract administration role
  • experience in work in a construction environment
  • a clear focus on supporting internal and external clients
  • the desire to achieve tight deadlines and use initiative to think outside the box to achieve business requirements
  • demonstrated experience in the ability to build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • exceptional people skills and impeccable organisational skills with the ability to be intuitive to the business needs

So, what can you expect from a career with us?

Well, it’s about three things:

  • Work. The way it should be. We take pride in quality work, completed to spec and on time. Things can’t always go according to plan, of course, but we’re proud to exceed expectations and deliver on what we promise.
  • Your career. The way it should be. With so many interesting projects to get stuck into, there’s ongoing work and a stable future here. Just give it a solid go, do the job well, and we’ll look after you.
  • A real team. The way it should be. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with an honest, reliable and respectful team. We’re mates looking after mates, and when the going gets tough, that’s when we step up for you the most.
