Project Manager

M2P Engineering

FIFO/DIDO 2:1 NSW

Full-Time

At M2P Engineering, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead our piping and mechanical project in a hydroelectric environment. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a challenging and rewarding role where you’ll manage a key project with significant impact.

As our valued Project Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering this critical project on time and within budget while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Based in NSW with FIFO/DIDO flexibility, you’ll draw on your extensive project management experience to oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution.

Working a 2:1 FIFO roster with flights from most major cities, you’ll enjoy a better work-life balance. You’ll also be surrounded by a down-to-earth team of reliable, friendly, hard-working people - it’s not all hugs and roses, but we take your physical and mental health seriously.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading and managing all aspects of the piping and mechanical project within the hydroelectric environment.
  • Ensuring project milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborating with a skilled team of engineers, tradespeople, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • Managing risk and implementing solutions to overcome challenges in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in project management, particularly within the piping and mechanical sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects in complex environments, ideally within the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience working in hydroelectric or other renewable energy projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

So, what can you expect from a career with us?

Well, it’s about three things:

  • Work. The way it should be. We take pride in quality work, completed to spec and on time. Things can’t always go according to plan, of course, but we’re proud to exceed expectations and deliver on what we promise.
  • Your career. The way it should be. With so many interesting projects to get stuck into, there’s ongoing work and a stable future here. Just give it a solid go, do the job well, and we’ll look after you.
  • A real team. The way it should be. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with an honest, reliable and respectful team. We’re mates looking after mates, and when the going gets tough, that’s when we step up for you the most.

You’ll also enjoy a range of other benefits:

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including FIFO/DIDO options.
