At M2P Engineering, we don’t just fabricate steel—we build careers. We need a Fabrication Coordinator with hands-on trade experience and solid leadership to guide our team of talented boilermakers, welders, and fabricators. This is your chance to lead from the front, working across multiple workshops to deliver high-quality projects, on time and to spec, every time.

This isn’t a desk job—you’ll be onsite in Salisbury, QLD, keeping your finger on the pulse of production, mentoring supervisors, and solving challenges as they arise. If you’re a seasoned boilermaker or fabrication supervisor looking for a new challenge, this role is made for you.

You’ll Make an Impact By:

  • Leading and supporting workshop supervisors across our three fabrication workshops to deliver top-notch, on-time results.
  • Keeping projects moving smoothly by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project goals and exceed expectations.
  • Ensuring safety and quality compliance at all times, with strict adherence to AS/NZ and ISO standards.
  • Mentoring and guiding tradespeople, building a high-performing team culture while keeping a hands-on approach.

What You’ll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in fabrication coordination, project management, or workshop leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of skilled tradespeople.
  • A laser focus on quality and detail—you know how to deliver the goods, every time.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle priorities under pressure.

We’d love it if you also have:

  • A trade background in boilermaking, fabrication, or welding.
  • Experience with structural steel and piping fabrication and knowledge of AS/NZ and ISO standards.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings without breaking a sweat.
  • Familiarity with GMAW and GTAW welding processes—experience with automated welding is a bonus!
