This is your chance to take that next step, get off the tools, and work your way towards a future in project management.

We’re looking for a Fabrication Coordinator with hands-on trade experience who wants more than just a standard role. You’ll guide our team of talented boilermakers, welders, and fabricators across multiple workshops, and be part of a supportive team that has your back every step of the way.

This role gives you the autonomy to own the process while working in a collaborative environment where your growth is a priority.

  • Autonomous Role: You’ll have the independence to manage projects, your way, while learning the ins and outs of project management.
  • Family-Friendly Hours + Overtime Uplifts: Balance work and life with a schedule that works for you—and make the most out of busy periods with overtime.

This Isn’t Your Average Desk Job

You’ll be onsite in Salisbury, QLD, staying at the heart of production, mentoring supervisors, and solving challenges as they come up. If you’re looking for a new challenge, one that’ll push you toward a bigger future, this role is for you.

You’ll Make an Impact By:

  • Leading and supporting workshop supervisors across our three fabrication workshops to deliver top-notch, on-time results.
  • Keeping projects moving smoothly by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to exceed project expectations.
  • Ensuring safety and quality compliance at all times, adhering strictly to AS/NZ and ISO standards.
  • Mentoring tradespeople, building a high-performing, supportive team culture while keeping a hands-on approach.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in fabrication coordination, project management, or workshop leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of skilled tradespeople.
  • A laser focus on quality and detail—you know how to deliver the goods every time.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle priorities under pressure.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • A trade background in boilermaking, fabrication, or welding.
  • Experience with structural steel and piping fabrication, and knowledge of AS/NZ and ISO standards.
  • The ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with GMAW and GTAW welding processes (automated welding experience is a bonus!).
