Full Time

At M2P Engineering, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch fabrication projects. As a Fabrication Coordinator, you will be instrumental in overseeing the coordination and execution of our projects, ensuring quality and compliance every step of the way.

Based onsite in Salisbury, QLD, you’ll draw on your expertise to manage fabrication projects, working closely with a team of skilled tradespeople. Your leadership and experience will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Coordinating with Workshop Supervisors across our three fabrication workshops to ensure quality and timely project delivery
  • Managing project resources and deliverables to ensure efficient workflow within the fabrication team
  • Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to meet project requirements and expectations
  • Monitoring progress and implementing solutions to overcome any challenges
  • Maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and specific client technical standards

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in fabrication coordination or project management within the fabrication or construction sectors
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team
  • A focus on quality and detail-oriented project execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ideally, you will also have:

  • A trade background in Boilermaking or Fabrication
  • Experience with structural steel and piping fabrication processes along with the relevant AS/NZ and ISO standards
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of GMAW and GTAW welding processes
  • Some experience with automated/robot welding procedures a bonus but not mandatory
