As our valued Plant Mechanic, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing a range of plant machinery, including Cranes, EWPs (Elevated Work Platforms), Light Vehicles, and Trucks. Based onsite at Tanami Gold Mine, you’ll draw on your expertise to troubleshoot issues, perform regular maintenance, and execute repairs to keep our equipment in top shape.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Conducting routine and emergency maintenance on plant equipment

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults

• Ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely

• Collaborating with other team members to tackle complex issues

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification

• Experience in plant maintenance and repair

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in remote and challenging environments

• Commitment to safety and compliance

• Knowledge of auto electrics

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience with a variety of plant machinery including Cranes, EWPs, Light Vehicles, and Trucks

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
