HSE Advisor - Underground

M2P Engineering

Carrapateena, South Australia $200k+ inclusive of super

Fixed Term

At M2P Engineering, we are redefining engineering and construction with smarter thinking and a commitment to real care. As an HSE Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained in our underground operations.

Based in Carrapateena, South Australia, you will work closely with our team to implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental strategies that align with our company values and the unique challenges of underground environments.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Developing and implementing safety systems and procedures to protect our people

• Conducting risk assessments and safety audits

• Providing training and guidance on HSE practices

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety

• Extensive experience in an HSE role, particularly in underground mining environments

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ideally, you will also have:

• Experience with emergency response planning and incident management

• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety issues

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
