Due to our involvement in a number of new projects and studies, we are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our Perth based team to support a keynote base metals project.
Reporting to the Group Manager Engineering , the successful applicant will be responsible for producing proficient and accurate design outputs that are fit for purpose and in alignment with Project and Study requirements.
The tasks you'll perform
- Providing proficient and accurate design input for the production of mechanical drawings.
- Perform accurate engineering designs and calculations.
- Developing and monitoring the production of designs in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
- Assist with tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of mechanical equipment from vendors where necessary.
The expertise you'll bring
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with Clients, vendors, co-workers and other stakeholders.
- 3-5 years experience working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects. On-site experience will be considered favourably.
- High attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Proven time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
