Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Designer to join our growing Engineering team in Mississauga, Ontario. 

Reporting to the Chief Designer the Junior Mechanical Designer will work under the direction of senior design staff to produce 3D models and drawings on schedule and on budget.

The tasks you'll perform

  • 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation based on guidance and support from senior staff

The expertise you'll bring

  • An approved diploma qualification of their discipline (Junior) and/or directly related industry experience of at least 5 years in design (Designer)
  • Knowledge of 3D and 2D design software and concepts required
  • Knowledge of Bentley Microstation, Triforma or AecoSim software experience preferred
  • Experience in mining / minerals processing design preferred
  • Knowledge of engineering design office workflows preferred
