Lycopodium Minerals are currently recruiting for Supervisors - Camp/Construction to join our growing team in Pakistan, on 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role will be responsible for the accurate, timely and professional delivery of project deliverables in accordance with the company, client and projects requirements.
The tasks you'll perform
- Maximise the productivity and efficiency of the civil team by planning, scheduling and appropriately allocating all resources to ensure deliverables are met.
- Manage the quality of the results produced by the Civil teams to ensure that deliverables are achieved with a high level of precision and in accordance with project, client and regulatory standards
- Monitor the progress of entrepreneurs; contract schedule to ensure key milestones are met. Report immediately (or as described in the applicable project plan) with the Construction Manager on matters that could affect the objectives of the project.
- Contribute to weekly client meetings and provide updates and feedback regarding construction deliverables.
- Communicate with the Construction Manager and provide daily diary and weekly reports, updates and comments regarding construction to ensure productivity is on schedule and within time constraints.
- Encourage and create a positive work culture and team environment.
- Immediately notify the appropriate manager of any safety or environmental, community or industrial relations incident, in accordance with approved company policy and procedures.
- Ensure site safety by carrying out regular inspections and publish the results
- Supervise the Civil construction team to ensure compliance with company and customer policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Develop and contribute to the implementation of improvement initiatives within the construction team that support the continuous improvement of the business.
The expertise you'll bring
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Supervisor role (civil works) in mineral processing and/or related industries in international projects. Ideally site based
- Experience in EPC/EPCM/Client/Owner is desirable
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and sound knowledge of HSE policy and procedures.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
