Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer to join our growing Process team in Perth. 

Reporting to the Group Manager- Process will provide high quality deliverables to the process group whilst exceeding client expectations and maintaining a high degree of professional integrity and work ethics

The tasks you'll perform

  • Develop project reporting requirements in accordance with Company and Client standards to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Respond immediately to change to ensure projects are completed on time in accordance with the contractual scope of work and services. 
  • Responsible and accountable for all Process design functions carried out on designated Projects, whether handled personally or delegated to subordinate staff members. 
  • Deliver best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to engineers in trainings professional development by providing consistent mentoring and identify avenues of development.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the Process Engineering group as required.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Relevant tertiary education qualifications.
  • Minimum of 15+ Principal years of experience in mineral processing, flotation or related industries.
  • Experience in gold, base metals or lithium will be considered favourably.
  • Intuitive leader with the ability to initiate, lead and manage change in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service to clients within budget and time constraints.
  • Willing to travel outside Australia on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and its operations.
