We are now seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst who will work on Luxury Escapes' newly launched loyalty program: Société .
Société is Luxury Escapes' free loyalty program that rewards members with points for every booking—hotels, flights, tours, and more—which can be redeemed for future travel or perks like room upgrades and VIP experiences. With four tiers (Bronze to Platinum), members unlock increasing benefits such as airport lounge access, chauffeur transfers, and exclusive discounts, all while continuing to earn rewards from other loyalty programs.
This role focuses on providing insights, analysis, and recommendations that support the efficient operation and profitability of the loyalty program. The CBP (Loyalty) will work closely with the Finance, Revenue Management, Data Analytics and wider Marketing teams to ensure the program’s financial health, offering strategic financial input to drive resource allocation, enhance customer value, and improve ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate ROI by assessing gross and net revenue generated by the loyalty program.
- Establish KPIs and regularly review program performance against forecasts and budgets.
- Refine the commercial model to align with evolving business needs and market trends.
- Analyse the cost of member benefits to ensure alignment with budgets and strategic goals.
- Review operating costs and identify opportunities for increased cost efficiency.
- Prioritise initiatives based on financial impact and alignment with program objectives.
- Support finance in reconciliation processes for accurate financial and non-financial reporting.
- Monitor key metrics like earn/burn ratio, points expiry, and redemption rates by segment.
- Manage the loyalty points pool, ensuring accurate tracking of inflows and outflows.
- Oversee expiry rules and T&Cs to optimise breakage rate and financial liabilities.
- Optimise earn and burn algorithms for engagement and financial sustainability.
- Benchmark and set partner pricing to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Review and adjust Fair Value of rewards to ensure a consistent Weighted Average Value per point.
About You:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong SQL database skills - please note we will ask you to complete an SQL task as part of the recruitment process
- Professional experience in financial analysis of a loyalty program
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with revenue management, deferred liability reporting, and loyalty program economics is a plus.
