Senior Accountant - Tax and Compliance

We are now looking for a Senior Compliance and Tax Accountant who will be tasked with ensuring Luxury Escapes meets all tax and regulatory compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

This role will manage tax reporting, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.  

What you'll do:

• Preparation and lodgment of all tax obligations including GST, VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations across all jurisdictions.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and intercompany tax arrangements.
• Provide tax guidance on new business initiatives, transactions, and international expansion.
• Maintain financial reporting compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and uphold governance frameworks.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation in tax and compliance functions.
• Strengthen internal controls and document policies to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage compliance obligations.
• Support CFO and finance leadership with insights into compliance risks and opportunities.

What we are looking for:

• Strong corporate experience in tax, compliance, or financial accounting roles.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly regarded.
• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, compliance obligations, and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated experience managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven track record in identifying risks and implementing robust internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
