Leadership Role - Safety and Collaboration Focus

We are looking for a Qualified Boilermaker/Welding Supervisor who embodies leadership through a supportive and collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive commitment to safety and possess strong interpersonal skills to foster a cohesive team environment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the scope of work is executed with precision and efficiency, maintaining the high standards we are renowned for.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Supervise and coordinate welding and boilermaker activities, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Utilize your expertise to mentor and guide team members, fostering their development and ensuring quality workmanship.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Boilermaking/Welding.
  • Valid Working at Heights, Drivers Licence, White Card, MSIC, and CSWIP 3.1 certifications.
  • Rio Tinto Inducted
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in supervisory roles within industrial settings.
  • Proven competence in structural repairs and maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for team dynamics.
  • Commitment to upholding health, safety, and environmental standards.
